These drives have been modified to be Plug-N-Play.  They come with a connector in which you can plug in your existing yellow DVD cable.  No need for a Y power spliter.  

* You will need to modify your XBOX casing so that the drive will fit.

As default I will also remove volume knob & headphone jack and put the PC faceplate and base back on.
If you do not want this done please let me know when you order one.


These drives have been tested with Originals, CD-RW and CD-R.  I have not tested them on DVD+-R/DVD+-RW because I do not have a DVD burner, although I'm pretty sure they will work on most DVD+-R/DVD+-RW.

I received mine yesterday and it works perfect.
The mod job was done VERY professionally.
It is truely plug and play; no Y-connector sharing power with the hard drive, this dvd drive plugs into the yellow dvd power cord on the Xbox motherboard.
