Hi!
The links above for the "MXM User Help Site" and "YuYu's Official MXM User's Manual and Help Site" point to the following URL: http://johny6killa.home.mchsi.com/ which DOES NOT WORK.
Is this site going to made available somewhere else, or should we not keep our hopes up of seeing these tutorials again?
Thanks!

An introduction by geniusalz
First off, if you don't know what MXM is, or don't know what it is capable of, check this out:MXM Demonstration Video
The author of Media X Menu (regularly refered to as MXM) is BenJeremy, and he frequents these forums daily.
For guides and general help on installing MXM, adding skins, preview videos, setting up your menus, etc. check out the MXM User Help Site
If you still need help after reading the guides, post in this forum, or visit the #mxm channel on EFnet. There's many people willing to help out there.
To get skins for MXM, use AllXboxSkins.com or #mxmfiles The best place right now for preview videos is #mxmfiles.
Even though MXM is a dashboard, it can still be run as an app. It is recommended to run MXM as an app before installing as a dash, to configure it properly.
The Basic Installation of MXM requires no xml or other configuration files. However, to get the most out of mxm, it is recommended to make xml files.
There are utilities to create xml files for you, if you don't want to do it manually.
To create a very basic menu structure, use Myx-Lite. To create a menu structure and configuration file, use Myxomatosis. To create a configuration file, use baMXMconfig
All these tools require the MS .NET framework (free download on the MS Website), and the tools can be downloaded from MXM Tools section on AllXboxSkins.
And we are working on ways to completely configure everything from within MXM without any additional tools. We'll keep you posted on this.

Major credit goes to OSWALD for starting this original topic. Several other users have provided links and information. I have just taken the time to update this topic regularly.

Please request content you want on these sites (ex. Files, help on certain things, or things you think others would want help with) The 3 sites I am speaking of are:
Any comments or suggestions would be especially helpful for the #MXM Channel Site and MXM Help Site, as they give out information to help people. Thank You for the input, helping to create a help and resource network for MXM.
