If this is the case, then I really would love to have you mod mine. Everyone here seems to have truly loved your work, so you obviously are the better choice.

Haze sent me my tracking number yesterday and I should be receiving my console back on Tuesday (Fedex is slow but I'm not complaining with this kind of exemplary service) so I will report back then. I have used both Verbatim DVD-R and DVD+R (burned at 4X using Imgburn on a Pioneer DVR-111D).
They both work fine in my case, but I have seen people mentioning DVD-R a lot more.
I believe that may be due to earlier generation chips (Wiikey) compatibility or lack thereof) with +R?
My D2CKey plays both (-R and +R) fine, but I don't know whether I should perhaps preferably be using -R for quciker loading or better compatibility with future chipsets?
My burner may be automatically bitsetting to DVD-ROM, which should make them easier to read. I need to double check that.

**UPDATE**
Well, I have been feeling fine the last several days and working my ass off to catch up. I have been shipping items out and have a big shipment to make tomorrow. About 25 systems. So if you have been waiting on your stuff it is more than likely going out tomorrow. I believe that will pretty much catch me up on most items and will only leave most recently delivered items to complete.
I haven't been taking any new orders the last several days so I could catch up, but now I am ready to start taking more again.

I know many people here have had great experiences with Haze, which is why I chose to send my D2B Wii to him to install a Cyclowiz with a switch. He was quick to respond to my PMs for quotes to install the chip and everything. I mailed out my Wii to him on January 24th and as of right now, I still do not have it back.
Haze said on Feb 4th, that it would ship out on the 5th, but it was not, due to the switch he used not working with the chip. After a few more emails to get in touch with Haze, I finally received a USPS ship notification on Feb. 13th, almost 2 weeks ago. Now it is Feb 25th and I have no idea where my Wii is. I shipped my Wii via USPS using a flat rate box and it only took 2 business days to get there (from California to South Carolina, where Haze is). I don't know what he is using to ship consoles back to people but I'm sure it should be here by now.
I would love to give a glowing review of Haze's services, but I can't. I know he got sick and everything, but from my perspective, I have been without my Wii for a month and counting. I will say that he has done a good job of responding to emails and some PMs. I think he needs to work something out with shipping times as well as better turnarounds. According to Shipgooder, a 2-day USPS flat-rate box from his zip code to mine costs $8.95 compared to USPS Parcel Post (up to 6 days) for $7.93. I'd gladly pay an extra dollar for 2-day shipping.

Dude they are soldered. But I also use glue to help hold them in place just like it shows in the install instructions on Maximus' site.

The tracking number he gave me said the same thing. It simply means the package was received by the post office in Saluda, where it will get shipped out from. I was a little concerned by this as well, but I check the website today (2 days later) and it has arrived in Columbus. Now I just have to wait for the mail lady to take her sweet time getting it to my place. Don't fret, your package is on its way.

NO ONE SHIPS ELECTRONICS THRU THE POST OFFICE
They DO NOT have "live" tracking. They never recover lost items. And it can take months for them to process paperwork giving the scammer plenty of time to dodge the rightfull owner.
You gotta ask yourselves, why does he keep switching between USPS and UPS ?
My conclusion is that when he begins his scam routine - he uses the USPS because we all know they have real sucky tracking ability. That way he can hide his tom foolery behind the inadequacy of the posts offices ability to find lost items.
UPS shipments come with a REAL OFFICIAL tracking number that can be accessed via the UPS site. Scammers ain't gonna use this method cause you the customer know from day one if your stuff REALLY got shipped.
The moderators of this forum need to put a LOCK on this mans actions and boldly acknowledge to all that XBOXHAZY should not be sent any consoles.
Isn't it amazing after all the warnings weve had about this charactor that I and others were stoopid enuff to send him our valuable electronics. I thought the last time his whole thread was deleated it musta been a pissed off customer scamming his situation. It appears he was justified in his claims and HAZY boy musta convinced the MODS he was on the up&up.

About USPS tracking numbers. Their system is garbage. I have had packages arrive at my house and the website still says they "have been notified by the sender but have not received the package for shipping." It took a few hours after it arrived for it to update with all the transit information.

Seems a couple of customers called my local police department and have had me investigated for Illegal activities which included, among other things, modding systems! Not shitting you one bit. I know who the two guys are but I will not mention any names. I spent most of yesterday and today talking to some really nice detectives about all of this. All I can say is thank goodness someone told me they were coming here and I was able to get everything moved before they arrived. I really don't want to go into too much detail here, but they didn't find anything. Only problem is that now I am being watched. No doubt they are reading this now....LOL The legal issues around modding is the reason why I have things done the way I have. Its why I don't accept drop offs, and why I never discuss this stuff in phone calls.
Now to address some of the posts.
Some one ask in a post above was anyone getting stuff. Yes they are. But they wont come in here and say that they have. Zapple and stealth915 are two guys that complained recently and both got their stuff and didn't bother to come back and let everyone know. There are plenty of others that have received stuff, but honestly I don't even know if they are members here or not.
A couple of guys here have stated that I am still taking new orders. No I am not. I haven't taken any in around a week. Stopped taking them so I could catch up.
Someone mentioned I was on live playing games. I have children, they are usually the ones playing. I am not a kid, I'm 38 so no doubt my children are older than some of you.
Why have I switched shippers several times. I did this to make some customers happy and I also do it to keep things safer.
I know there are many of you upset over the wait. I am too. I don't like it one bit. But, If you guys will notice there is no one saying that they never got their stuff. Only complaints of long waits and slow response times. A lot of the slow responses are simply because people will email me and never give me any info as to who they are. Others are simply because I haven't got to respond yet.
I am completing mods and I am going to continue shipping these out, but my suggestion is to not have anything illegal in your homes for quite a while after delivery.
I hope that is not true but I would be careful for a while.

The only thing that really sucks about my situation is that if he sent it to the address I wanted it sent to, which is at a university, I will be leaving for spring break on Friday, and won't be back here until the end of March. In which case my Wii will be sitting in the shipping/receiving warehouse in the cold for 2 weeks.
One question I did have for Haze, when detailing me on pricing info, you said the console would be shipped out with FedEx. If this were the case, tracking would be a lot better, and I would probably have had my console by now. Just wanted to know how many days they estimated for delivery when you ship with USPS. And you people have to know, tracking with USPS sucks major ass. I've had it stay at the "Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received" for DAYS after I've had things shipped with them. It just. plain. sucks.
I'll shoot you a PM Haze just to double check you sent me the right tracking number. And I will update here once I get my console back, because we are all in the same boat, and I know all this waiting is a bitch on people's nerves.

Mafia do you honestly believe what you type on here because if it was just 2 weeks we would not be posting things in here. Most of us have been close to more than a month and a half. your just another one of the people that come on here to give praise to someone thats not fullfilling obligations like promised. And for you saying clean the scene remember your quote before this is not illegal, well the scene should del purge you and never allow you back. I have ran my own business before and when I gave someone a time frame I was expected to keep that time frame, whether I was sick or not. When you are told your console is being shipped on a specific date which only took 2 days to get there, it should not take 2 weeks and still no console to return. Let's say that Haze only could charge half of the work when he accept one, and the other half when he is done with the work and console its already with the owner.

I went out and bought a second Wii yesterday to hold me over until I get mine back. Threatening people doesn't help you get anywhere...if you don't get your console back its because of the clowns on here dropping ridiculous threats. This is a public forum...you should know that anyone can read this and making public threats is not a smart move.
That's my 2 cents...and I sure I will be tore apart for my opinion, but being negative isn't helping the situation.

I am just as annoyed as everyone else...I have been waiting for 3 weeks for my Wii and I, like most, have never plugged it in. Being annoyed is different than threatening people on a forum. It may seem like I am defending Haze, but I am just trying to be rational about the situation. It does suck though.
If it is not true...then we have all been taken for a little ride. I am a not a very patient person, but I am trying to make the best out of a bad situation.

A 'your console will be done in the next 3 weeks' would be nice, but nothing really sucks. Yeah first if you dont have the key yourself consider your 360 just a motherboard and sell it for parts if you have the key ur fine. second he could so the drive and someone could use it with there firmware.

If not then my console is definitely a sunk cost. I shipped it via fedex with direct signature. But if what you said about Googlecheckout has fraud protection is true then at least I can get that money back. Hopefully we'll have this mess sorted out when/if Haze ever responds.
We should probably make a list of what people sent out and when and if they received it back yet. But, I'm sure all the people who get their items back never return to these boards. But once again I'm hoping for the best.

People who have their serial numbers for their consoles should report them stolen as long as they registered them. If anyone goes online with our serial numbers, they can be traced.

I called the usps and i gave them my tracking number through a customer support not automated. and they werent able to tell me the exzact address but were able to tell me that the package was going to be delivered to Melissa Tx 75454 All of that info for me would be correct so im thinking that the package will make it. I hope its not a scam either and I am not praising his efforts. I personally think this guy has a lot on his plate and he is not a very good business man. The only thing I can't recoup is the time I am wasting dealing with this issue. With the economy the way it is I am sure this type of thing will happen more and more...buyer beware.
Google checkout may get what you paid him but UPS isn't going to do much if the package arrived at haze's safely. After that it is out of their hands. So if a scam has gone down we are most likely out a 360/wii. That is unless you were buying a system from him and he never sent it, then you could recover your loses.

Haze or someone who says they are Haze's friend/wife gets on his account and posts a message saying that "you're all outa luck, blah blah, something bad happened" Most likely "Cops confiscated everything. and He's in jail." "Haze is in the hospital" "Haze is at a family emergency/funeral" "Haze is dead" or something just as stupid. I expect either a complete bs story to come eventually from Haze's account.
I can see this happening within a couple of weeks at LEAST.
I know he probably feels bad about screwing us all over, but then he looks at the money he made and smiles and probably thinks it's all worth it.
Too bad he doesn't read the news.. People now days in america get pissed and go to far lengths to get "revenge" Just like we hear about the sex predators that drive 1500 miles or whatever to go meet some underage kid and get busted..
If I were Haze I'd be pretty damn worried. We might all not be able to solder, but that doesn't mean we are idiots.
John and Crystal Canady might be known as scammers, but I'm still hoping they decide it's in their best interests to just finish the orders and be done with it.

He gets you to send your stuff and and once you tell him its mailed he never talks to you again.
He put leds and a tiltboard in mine and when i got it back it wasnt working so i opened up the controller. Almost everything was done the wrong way. This really pissed me off because I wasted $60 on parts and stuff and a $50 controller. If someones thinking of modding there console before sending to ANYONE please read a tutorial on how to do it because its not that hard. Use google im sure ull find a bunch of links even video tutorials.

About the only advice I can give you guys is to ACT NOW. Time is seriously against you in these situations, and not to take any BS excuses/lies from anyone. Scammers are usually pathological liars and know exactly how to manipulate situations to give them... TIME.

If you paid for a premod and it's been almost a month, request for a refund. If you get BS excuses etc, call you CCC immediately and have them cancel the transacation, if you used debit/bank, it's a little harder, but you need to go to you local branch and explain the situation to them.

i understand what you are saying, it makes sense, and i have thought of this as well, but i then keep remembering that the saluda sheriffs dept. confirmed that he is a klnown scammer and has even scammed local townfolk. He always got away with it cuz he usually scammed people on ebay one at a time. One call to the sheriffs dept is not gonna do shit, but this is the first time he scammed many at one time, also further proof of him being a scammer is the fact that he has scammed on this site before, and he also reg his website with false info. So even though it doesn't makes sense to do what he did, he still scammed us intentionally.....maybe hes just stupid

Although I hate to admit it since he DID mod my Wii for me and got it to me in a week, this is how a typical scammer works. He fixes / mods consoles for a while and does a great job (for the members who posted very early in the thread including myself) until he builds the trust and respect of the community. Then, when he starts getting tons of boxes delivered to him, he takes the $ and you never see your console ever again. Sure I'm happy to have received my Wii back in modded condition, but what he did to the majority of you was very screwed up so I'm glad he got caught. Go steal someone else's $.

No. I sent him an xbox to mod and also a circuit board from a separate drive to repair.
Well he did give me confirmation that my drive was flashed and it would ship the next day. When I finally got it back it was not flashed, therefore he was either scamming or trying to buy time for whatever reason. Whatever I am happy others are getting there shit back.
I just sent my newly returned xbox straight to another modder (Ranger72). I haven't got it back yet but this guy received it at around 3:30 and had it FLASHED AND IN THE MAIL at around 4:15. Decent price too. Should have it back in the next two days. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
