Lots of new faces in the Firmware Flashing section. I contacted two flashers local to me...neither are good spellers, and unfortunately bad spellers are shady unless proven otherwise in my book (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif).
I've done business with you before and I remember your communication and turn around time was excellent. This time I need a BenQ drive flashed. Do you need only the drive? $35 with free return shipping?

5) The amount of thermal past on the chips was pretty ridiculous. Its so bad that i will post the pictures that i took. This also cased the xbox to overheat since applying alot of thermal past defeats the purpose of its use to cool things down.
I already emailed the guy and he claims to be busy but yet he is not busy to keep posting in this thread to make more money. If i knew this guy was clueless on what he is doing i would of done it myself which i did and the xbox is back to a working condition. The guy didnt even offer for me to ship the xbox back for him to fix it or even a refund for not knowing how to fix the xbox.
All in all this guy might be good at other things but i would not recommend him to fix your xbox 360. Please find someone else to fix your xclamp replacement

Wow alright Bassam19. Let's get the story straight!!
1) Your xbox case was already in horrible shape from you trying to open it before without the proper tools (using a screw driver to open it, it seemed)
2)I used all M5-.80x10 Screws, and it doesnt matter if some are black and some are silver (which is probably why you're saying they are "different" hah, they are the same size!!"
3)I have no clue where you are getting your information about my washers. I used 1 #10 Nylon washer on both sides of each leg of the heatsink along with 1 5mm on each side of each leg. I use the LawDawg method. So I have no idea where you're getting your info that I'm suppose to cut out the metal case. It seems like you have NO idea what you're even talking about. 4) Same as answer as #3, You obviously have no idea how Lawdawgs Xclamp Fix is performed!!
5)The thermal past looks like your smeered it around to look worse than it is. The Artic Silver thermal past is soft (unlike the retail thermal paste) So maybe you didn't know that it is soft and easy to smeer?!
I never claimed that your 360 would work FOREVER. No 360s do. So don't get on my thread claiming I don't know what I am doing since your 360 failed for the second time.
You can look all throughout my feedback if you want and see my MANY MANY successful RROD fixes. I'm sorry that your 360 didn't last as long as others but that is NO reason to get on here claiming that I do not know what I am doing whenever you are the one posting false information and claims that show you have no idea how the Xclamp fix is preformed.

Thanks for the feedback. The Wii was whenever the D2C Wii's started coming out and I didn't feel comfortable modding a D2C for the first time on someone else's Wii besides my own. So I sent it back and he was very cool with it and very understandable.

Ive been working on it for 2 days now and cant figure it out. So im curious if you have ever had this issue, and if i was wiling to send it to you, if you think you can fix it. If its not fixable, or you know you wont be able to, thats fine, atleast then i will know im wasting my time. thanks in advance for the help.
I doubt its fixable. Sounds like your 360 is done for to me. You might have hurt it with the heat gun but once some xboxs get the RROD, they can't be fixed, while others can. Best bet would be to part out the pieces or sell it in the BST section.
