Things got a little hectic as i just found out thru my buddy that getting something delivered thru Next Day (overnight) to arrive on Saturday gets charged significantly higher. I sent my drive to Xtreme last friday, and today he flashed it and sent me the original bin for the drive. He says he will ship it out tommorrow and i would recieve it on friday, when i get it back, ill tell everyone how it went, but so far its been great. This dude def knows what he is doing and I would def come back to him if i needed to flash any more drives!

I sent my drive last friday and i got my drive back this friday and let me tell you something for 20 bucks, plus 5 dollars shipping to get the drive to him, i got my drive professionally "maintained." It runs everything! If you need to get your drive "maintained" this is the guy to go to! Not only it is so cheap, you get overnight shipping back to you! This guy is awesome and very friendly! For the meantime, I'm going to have to request that those sending me a Hitachi 78fk jobs to please plan on shipping the core console as I have been having trouble with my VIA card on 78fk drives and won't be able to test out your drive on my system with my key to verify my work. An issue has arised in which i might not be able to reflash your drive once i test it out with my key and the problem lays with getting it back into mode B after i'd spoofed it to my ms25 system and injected my key into the Hitachi for a thorogh testing of a successful dump and flash to your drive's chip.
To avoid any delays until i get my new PC in and tested for 78fk flashing, this will be necessary to guarantee a working job on your system as i would originally test them out on my system to ensure the ensuing flash with your key and upgraded firmware will work (as you will just pop in your drive and rock n roll when you get it). Just so you know, the service is still $10 for the backup, firmware upgrade, and testing, then assured reflash to your system. I can easily backup and reflash a Hitachi 78fk to work on your system, but that would mean that i will have to ship it out back to you without testing and I wouldn't feel right to offer half assed service like that since i guarantee my work 100%.
I figure the extra $10 to cover the overnight shipping and weight of your 360 console is better than getting back a flashed but untested dive from me. Either way, if you wanna save the $10, I'll still accept just the drive but keep in mind that it will be shipped back without testing. I just wanna save ya all time and take that extra measure to make sure your Hitachi 78fk drive and system are working together in harmony. Either way, all Toshiba Samsung and initial Hitachi drive flash jobs are unaffected; this is ONLY for those who have a Hitachi drive that has the 0078fk firmware. Actually bro, all questions are welcome and i'll answer them as best as i can! Only the DVD drive is necessary. Again, only the Hitachi 78fk drives are the only ones i'll need the core console if you want a 100% tested drive but i can still do them without the console if you choose.
-Seeing as you have a Samsung, then just the DVD drive is needed.
-Feel free to do the live dashboard update now as well as the XBox 1 backwards compatability update since the new Xtreme 5.2 firmware allows single layer XBox 1 backup use in ISO mode (no dual layers needed anymore)!
-You'll still be able to use XBox Live! but only do so at your own risk and I would suggest you use your original 360 Live game title when you play online for assurance and safety as we don't know what M$ plans on doing about the firmware hacks (so just be safe and use the original when playing Live!).
-Seeing again as you have a Samsung drive, yes... you will be able to backup your own $60 investments like we all are doing now (I just damaged my 2nd original of Gears of War already!!! arghhh! )
-As long as the games are Region Free, then you can use them on your NTSC/U console with no problems. Region locked games and backups of those original games won't play due to the region restrictions.
-Warranty is voided as you will open up the system in order to remove the DVD drive to send my way to upgrade. There are techniques in properly removing the MICROSOFT warranty sticker without damaging it if in case you feel it's necessary to do so. It involves a hair dryer (or heat gun), exacto knife, a steady hand and some time.
All questions are welcome bro and i thank you for posting them here on the thread, that way, others looking in who might have similar questions will be able to read as well and find out the answers. If you plan on shipping the core console (so i can remove the warranty sticker properly and do my thing on it), then it will be $30. If you open it up yourself and just ship me the drive, then it will only be $20! Hope that answers your questions bro! Let me know what you wanna do! Peace!

this dude is the real deal. I got my xbox back the day after he finished. He had it probably a total of 5 hours before it was on its way back to me.
It was safely packaged as well. I tested my originals on it and they work fine, not a single problem. I will update tomorrow once I test my backups.
I can't say enough about the awesome communication. He will answer ANY question you have. There wasn't a moment I didn't know what was going on with my 360.
I would and will use his services again.

-Ship it properly and securely packaged with tracking or delivery confirmation (I can't stress this enough if you're shipping a console, opt to get insurance if possible)
-Include a paper or note with your forum name or gamertag and your return shipping address with the drive or console (i cannot ship to PO Boxes at all)
-When shipping a DVD drive, remove the eject button piece off of your DVD drive (I almost forgot to ship one back with its drive yesterday and would like to avoid that ever happening)
-When shipping a console do not include any controllers, cables, or power supplies. If you want the dash and XBox 1 backwards compatibility updates, then include the Hard Drive as well and i'll update it for you free of charge!
Following those guidelines will make everything run much smoother on my part and will get you your drive or console back without any hiccups! I cannot ship on Fridays for Saturday delivery so anything that comes in on Friday will be shipped out on Saturday via FedEx overnight but it won't reach you till Monday so keep that in mind and take into account the time it will take for your package to reach me (Friday is always a great day to ship so it can reach me on Tues or Wednesday)!
A lot have asked why i cannot take or accept Paypal payments with credit cards. Truth is since i charge so little for the flashing, and sometimes barely break even on the shipping fees, i cannot afford the Paypal fees incurred with accepting CC payments and would like to avoid fraudulent credit card payments down the line. I am capable of accepting Paypal payments done with actual funds on hand so that won't be a problem and i don't see myself accepting credit card payments any time soon. I had packages ready to go out on Friday but my friend wasn't able to make it in time to come pick them up to send them out. I was hoping he'd help me send them off today (Saturday) but he went outta town to visit his family and well I couldn't impose on his personal plans. Due to these circumstances and in order to ensure that the shipping discount continues, I'm going to have to start limiting shipments of systems and drives for Monday thru Thursday only. To those still waiting on their packages will get them shipped out on Monday for sure so you're patience is greatly appreciated. Anyone looking to send work my way will have to ship on Thursday or Friday so I can get it early in the week and send it out accordingly. I would hate to begin to annoy my friend since he always has to be there when I get all these things shipped out for you guys and eventually lose that discount so outta respect for him and how much he's helped us all these past couple of months, i hope you all understand. My price hasn't changed and neither has my awesome service you all have gotten to know and love, just the days outta the week in which i can ship. Since I only get to see my girl during the weekend, this will benefit me as well.
If it comes down to it and if you request it, I will ship your packages thru USPS or UPS but it will only be standard 2-3 day shipping so if I send them out on Friday or Saturday, you will get them back by Tuesday or Wednesday. This would be exactly the same if you wouldn't mind waiting for me to send off your packages on Monday to reach you Tuesday so in essence, it balances out just fine. Okay quick update for those wanting to send work my way...
I've been working like crazy (48 hours at a time) on this huge pile of 360's clearing them for resale and verifying that they work, and modding them up and upgrading them. I've severely underestimated the time it would take to go thru these systems so i'm getting bogged down by all this work as well as getting everything down for my new BST/Flasher thread as well as finishing up the work I currently have pending for those who sent work my way. Everyone with pending jobs have been contacted and notified that I should have their items finished and sent off on Monday/Tuesday. Those looking to send work my way will still have to wait a bit longer. Since I've been at the new workshop 48 to 56 hours at a time, I still have no luck with internet access and only have a chance to get online when I get home (and even then, when I go home, it's just to shower and finish packing up my stuff before I move into a new house) then I'm right back into the shop again. My girlfriend's birthday was on the 19th and I didn't even get to spend it with her but have to set some time aside for her today (April 21st) since I had to promise her I wouldn't be busy around 5pm today to give her all my attention for her birthday so I'm gonna be busy with that today but will get back to work when I take care of my baby
! In the meantime, I will be closing this thread although I sure do appreciate everyone's bump in the meantime. If you are wanting any firmware flashing or mod installs please contact another reliable modder on these forums in the meantime until I get this whole setup fully locked and loaded for my v2.0 threads to apprear shortly. I will also be fixing the 3 Red Light o' Death systems with the new fix that has surfaced and proven to work wonderfully (I've fixed and have extensively tested 2 RLOD systems I had here and can officially verify it's working like a charm) so I'll be offering those services as well on the new threads. I apologize about the lack of contact lately but you all gotta understand that when it comes to internet service, i'm still waiting but rest assured that when I finally get my Wireless PCMIA Sprint Card in, i'll be back in constant contact like I was before and ready to offer you guys the awesome service you've come to know from me with much more efficiency now that I'll be able to handle a big workload. This will be my last post on this thread and I want to thank everyone who's made this possible cuz in truth, it's like a dream come true this past month. Everything is slowly but surely falling into place to allow me to be able to offer the kind of service I've always wanted to for you guys and this scene, all i ask for is a little more patience... it's gonna be so worth it! you take a risk of being band because of the firmware and the backup disc itself.
if you want to go on live you need to go on without a modded machine.

these aren't drugs. there is no legislation that prohibits adding a chip or LED to your video game console. It voids your factory warranty and can get you banned from online networks, but that's the extent of the reprecussions that stem from installing anything on a console.
defrauding individuals is another thing, however. I am with you in thinking that he may have the intention of sending us back our items, but 3 months (in my case) is patient enough. he didn't respond to any of us until we mentioned going through legal channels. now, it's time to go through with it. though his intention may be to please everyone by modding everything and sending it back, he's still at fault as long as he does not hold to his word -- both verbal and written.

I finally talked to the Harlingen PD. They took all the info down but advised me to call my local PD (from where the item was shipped) and give them all the info so that they could work together and get my 360 back. So I would advice everybody to do the same, I will keep updating you as this progresses but then again you need to do the same so the priority on this is higher.
