well basically u need to manually configure your pc's ip address/default gateway/subnet mask to work with whatever settings are currently on your EVOX.
but if i was u i would switch your dashboard on your xbox to UnleashX as u can adjust your ip address settings on the fly on the xbox where in evox u cannot without editing the evox.ini file on your pc which is a pain in the butt.
you did not show your ip settings on your evox on the xbox so ill just give u an example...
so basically say for example your xbox's ip address settings are something like this...
IP ADDRESS = 192.168.1.4
SUBNET MASK = 255.255.255.0
DEFAULT GATEWAY = 192.168.1.1
setup your pc like this...
IP ADDRESS = 192.168.1.3
SUBNET MASK = 255.255.255.0
DEFAULT GATEWAY = 192.168.1.1
this should give u the general idea on how to setup pc to xbox connections with a crossover cable.

ok so how do i setup my pcs ip because the realtek networkcard says media disconnected and thats the 1 i need to use
-
goto control panel and select network connections then i think in your case select "local area connection 2" which looks like the one your using to connect to the internet... after u select the local area connection 2 then select properties then highlight "Internet Protocol TCP/IP" then click properties .... it will then get to the screen which u need to adjust your settings like i was saying... select on that screen "use the following ip address" then enter the settings u need to connect to your xbox.
after your done with the xbox u will most likely need to put everything back to "obtain an ip address automatically" in order to get your internet connection back on your pc.
Note: im assuming your using windows xp.

just to make sure... can u post your current evox settings on this forum... cause im starting to wonder if theres a chance those are not setup right (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
goto "system utils" then "settings" and list all the stuff under the "network" part in evox.
