I'd like to see what your fix is, every time I eject a game while playing I get a dirty disk error and just have to reboot the xbox.
For you, I would suggest getting a bios WITHOUT the eject fix. This way, your Xbox will ALWAYS reboot to your dashboard (Evox, in this case) when you eject your disc, like a normal Xbox boots to the MS Dash. However, make sure you then get a bios that HAS the Eject Trick, which is described as:

if xbe is compiled with specific flag, the xbox will not reset when you press eject-button
so when you are ripping a game or in Evox, the Xbox doesn't reset when you eject the disc.
Head on over HERE for a description of bioses that do and do not support these, and a desciption of the hacks and fixes.
As for the original poster, I suggest trying this as well. It MIGHT help.
