Title: Whats The Diff?

Ok im a noob, I just modded my xbox (softmod), with mechassault. And in the installer it tells me to choose between Evolution X and Unleash X. I heard more about Evolution X, so i chose that but im just wandering what is the difference.

Im sorry if this has already been posted before and if it is can someone please give me a lik.

evolution x = more noob friendly/easier to use

unleash x = a little more advanced

Is there any difference regarding features?

Cause i was hoping i could play dvds with out the kit. (Or is that seperate software)

That's different software.

Regarding features... UnleashX is way better.
You can change the color of your Power/Eject buttons through the settings, you can also download new skins directly throught the UnleashX dashboard. Also, when UnleashX has a new dash version out, you can download it through the UnleashX dash as well.

As Chorizo1 said... it's more advanced than Evolution X.

hey thnx man, im willing to learn so know i want to switch to Unleash X. Any hints and tips since i do already have evox installed?

since you already have it installed, try it out for a while get FTP working and install some stuff you want. tip: if you change to unleash x, stay away from the formatting settings, and do not mess with lockin/unlocking your HDD. those are 2 common noob mistakes.

Yep... I can see it now.

"hey guys, I accidentally unlocked my hard drive and now I'm getting Error 05. How can I fix this."

Yeah, if you see the words lock or unlock... don't press any buttons.
