People with 0 posts sell in the b/s/t forum and all the issues are with people like this. Yes there is always the good guy gone bad situation but if we set a limit say 20 posts before you can sell in the b/s/t area would limit the ammount of people who get ripped off and the scam artists would not sucker newbies or even experienced members in as much.
Just my 2 cents..

I don't think this would do much.
So... a scammer makes 20 posts... and he's in and trusted because he HAS 20 posts, right? I mean, there are plenty of honest BST members that have VERY few posts outside of the BST.

^^ Look at that user. 15 posts and look at all those refs.
And people with a few thousand could just as easily rip someone off... catch my drift?

heh.. last guy i sold a 360 game to had next to no posts, paid instantly, great transaction.
BST is really where you have to rely on street smarts, do your homework and you wont get burned.

post count dont mean anything.
There was a user Cota Godly one or something like that and he was a member for a few years and had a few hundred posts. He ended up being a scammer. It something you will never know. A 0 post member is just as dangerous as a member with 300 posts. Theres also lurkers, people who never post in the BST and just prey on people by using the PM system and try to get trades or sales.
All a new member has to do is go spam 20 posts and then they would get in. Just do some homework before you throw 100+ down the drain, maybe 10-20 bux who cares take your chances. If something sounds to good to be true than it prob is. Check refs if the person has any see what kind of transactions they had. Sometimes people make up refs. I wish people would separate their refs like buyers/sellers/traders that would be a little better for other members, but its up to them. I separate mine for the sake of other members. That way they know who I sold to and who I bought from. People can go around and buy from 20 people say I have 20 refs, and you dont check and be a scammer.
Just be safe and smart and you will be fine in the BST.

Buyers with 0 posts are fine but it seems the sellers with 0 posts are the issue for the most part.
Either way no big deal it was just a suggestion. Thanks for the discussion.

you are basing your zero post thing on what you see. We actually have far more problems with established members. You simply don't see the posts or threads anymore.
post count high or low means NOTHING in BST.
People have to research.
People have to ASK for references.
People have to get ALL the relevant contact info possible.
Then.. people have to take responsibility for their own actions and the fact that they are doing biz with strangers over the internet with little or no protection.
