i'm thinking about installing one of my modded xbox's in my truck when i take long trips with the fiance so she has something else to do besides sight see. lol. this might just happen tomorrow if the rain holds out.
it'll be going into a 2wd chevy s10 xtreme. i'm just wondering if you guys think the vibration will be a problem when playing it with the truck in motion since it has a spinning hard drive in it. any ideas?

Yeah, I was thinkin about using a solid state drive of some sorts, but I wasn't quite sure how to go about it. Hmm... maybe I'll just think about going with my original idea.. putting my super nintendo in it haha.

Ended up on brackets with rubber surrounds on the screws allow it to give a little sucking up the bumps and the hard drive was mounted vertical. I read multiple times that with the hard drive mounted vertical any large bumps that might affect the hard drive needle wont slam or bounce on the platters.
I just read a little, I mean none of it may have never helped, But i never had any problems!
