Title: Xbox Boots Fine But Doesn't Read Disc

ok my xbox boots to the M$ logo then goes straight to the clock put game in and nothing tried swapping drive out (bothe boxes are UNmodded) and it still the same but when i put the drive back in the other box it boots and reads fine bothe are 1.0 i was just wanderind if the drives had to use specific motherboards or hard drives any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated!!

if it goes to the clock ,i think that means that its been unplugged for quite a while, so when it boots it goes to the clock so you can set it, then it will boot normal , someone correct me if im wrong!

set clock and everything is still the same just keeps sitting there like its waiting for a disk or something!!!

so it tries to read the disc then?  Does it go and then you get that dirty disc error?
