Title: Ram Upgrade-flashing Green Only
Post by: Bomb Bloke on April 24, 2010, 10:12:00 PM
The only time I know of when the LED will flash green is when the console wants to eject the DVD tray. It's a bit odd if you're using the normal power button to start the console, though. If you're not pushing the eject button, what happens when you do?

the same thing.
I get flashing green only.

I also get flashing green only when i try booting to backup bios.

Update:
Just for giggles, I plugged in my DVD drive.  Previously I did not have the DVD drive attached as I am doing this in a slim.  I dug out my DVD, connected it, and then tried it again...

SUCCESS!  well solid green anyway with no video, so that means I should be ok.

SO I guess that means that a Flashing Green only, when you have no DVD drive connected means your solder job is good.  I guess it would always be better to connect it and make sure it is green solid, but I guess, if you didn;t have a DVD drive, at least you could figure chances were pretty good your soldering would be ok.
