The original Microsoft dashboards have no FTP functionality.
If your console can boot AID, then doing so will have it load the UnleashX dashboard, which does provide an FTP service. You should also be able to install 5960 using AID.
If you have more questions, detail what modifications your console has, and what it is you're actually trying to achieve.
