Ive been reading alot on the site and have seen that the seagate 2TB hdd have real worked alot better for ppl. plus alot of the times the rpm i much lower causing less heat and less chances to fail. I could be wrong but it is worth checking into. Here is a website that has alot of different hdd but just scroll down a little bit and look at the seagate 2TB.

Why do you want to lock it ?, if your xbox is chipped or flashed locking is pointless.
