It starts up fine and will load the game up, but then freezes during the loading of a level or when a button is pushed. Have only test CoD: W@W and CoD:MW2. Also tried a burnt dvd and bought dvd, wouldn't load up either of them for playback.
Opened it up and cleaned out tons of dust (my buddies console), also cleaned the drive laser eye.
Would this be a bad eye or hard drive? I've looked into symptoms of both but can successfully narrow it down. The HDD didn't seem to be making any odd noises and the drive seems to still load and function just fine.
