Title: Ps3 40gb Won't Take In Discs After Laser Swap

Hello everyone,

I currently have a 40GB PS3 which worked perfectly, except for the lens that would not read discs. I took it apart, swapped out the lens with a new one, and reassembled it(I have done it with about 5 consoles already successfully).

Now It will not accept discs. I try to put in discs, it lights up blue, but will not accept them. It will make a constant clicking noise, as explained in a youtube video as "machine gun" clicking.  Is the drive misaligned now? Does anyone know a simple solution? I have read:
