Title: Loud Noise Coming From Xbox All Of A Sudden

First, please don't dig up a three year old post to describe your problems,
especially when one is a fan and the other is a hard drive.

Second, it is probably the hard drive going out.

Since you are modded, get your eeprom.bin file to your PC immediately.

Copy your C and E drives to the PC.

Anything else on the F or G drive you need to save goes to the PC also.

Build a new hard drive and lock it with your eeprom.bin, unless you have a
hard mod.

After that, you should be good to go.

Microsoft, before the release of the Xbox 360, made the console's size a little too small, which resulted in a technical flaw that was left behind.

It was kind of weird but today my original xbox was making this really loud noise, sounds like it was comingg where the fan is located.Is my xbox dying?

The fan is probably dying.

Crack that sucker open & check the fan.

I bet its your xbox is a 1.0 with the crazy GPU fan symptom. Does it die down sometimes and usually whines rumbles when its started?

Either way check those fans to make sure they still run!
