* The drive can be upgraded, although not on any official basis (read: YMMV, do so at your own risk, you may void warranty, etc.).

All I have to say is, NO VGA. Im very disappointed, and this will definitely influence my future ps3 purchase
I ONLY use VGA for my HiDef gaming. There is just no other choice for me. If ppl can piss and moan about the lack of HDMI in the 360 then I think its fair to cry about the lack of VGA on the PS3.

DVI(analog) --> VGA
You would need something to go from DVI(digital) --> DVI(analog). They are expensive.
Here is one: that goes from DVI(digital) --> VGA
