Title: Putting A Usb Port Into A S Controller

so i have an extra S controller laying around and i wanna put a usb port in one of the memory pors on it and after looking all over this site i cant find a good tutorial on it.
does anyone have a link or could tell me which wire goes to where?
i was goind to use a usb extension cable for this

I have once seen a tutorial that modified a xbox memory device to connect it to the USB port of a computer.
If you can dig that one up, you should be able to locate the needed signals.
In my opinion, it isn't worth the effort, since you can buy very cheap gameport 2 usb cables on Ebay.
If you are already using all 4 of your gameports, that's something different.

thanks for the tips.
i saw the tutorial here on the scene
but not the other one.
with those two together i should be able to pull it off.
and i know they sell cheap cables. but i have the extra controller already
and i never use the memory slots (except when doin a softmod. but i got other controllers for that).
plus i like the idea of having it tucked away in the controller slot. no extra cables or anything.

Dont wanna double post or anything but i just wanted to say
thanks to Heimdall's tutorial he provided i managed to pull this off. though it wasnt easy and isnt the prettiest.
but it works and im proud for my 2nd time soldering (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (first time was TSOP ha).

but thanks alot man. couldnt have done it without that tutorial
