Title: Samsung 120gb For $90 On Homepage

I noticed at the top of the xbox-scene homepage it has a Samsung 120GB hdd for only $90!!  Is this drive worth anything or is it just one of those cheap-ass-hdd? If anyone has any info please ley me know

It's a very nice drive. I like it very much. I recommend buying this drive.
noise level is acceptable. Speed is a non-issue since we're  talking xbox (the speed is normal in pc as well- just to clarify)and heat is not a factor for me.

You can get a maxtor 160 8MB 7200 rpm for $99.  Its debatable to go with a 5400 or 7200.
7200 will run hotter and a little louder.  You loose 23 GB going with the 160 due to the 137GB limit but its 17 more than a 120. Or ~6 games the way some see it.

Is that 160 gb HDD $99 to start, or is it after mail-in "rebates"?
