So I was watching something from the internet on my Xbox and my router crashed. I rebooted the router and now there's no connection on the xbox. Tried setting it in UnleashX, regular xbox dash, and in XBMC; all of which resulted in nothing. Any tips on fixing or is this a lost cause?

Do your network lights light up on the back of the Xbox at all?
If it was a power surge it could have fried the network port in the Xbox. Have you tried a different cable?

Lights turn on, tried different cables, tried a direct connect to the modem, nothing helped.
I'm thinking this may be a dead something or other.

take the xbox to a friends place/work/etc. plug it in. make sure it's in DHCP mode. use that router/network cable/etc.
That should tell you a lot based off of the result.

You can also log into your router & make sure the settings are working properly.

Well the router seemed like a big problem, so I actually replaced the firmware completely with DD-WRT. Everything on the router side is right. I'll try it in another set up if I can.
I'm thinking I might give it a reinstall with evox install cd and see what happens.
