1. I have read here that people are having lots of difficulty with the xbox not liking the sata to IDE adapters very well. Some people have reported they're xboxs doing strange things after going sata (long start-up times, stutters, etc.). To me, It isn't worth it, because as these Xboxes age, they will be producing enough of their own set of problems BEFORE these bulky upgrades.
2. I have also read that if you install an HD of that size and use partitions less than 1TB, you should be fine. I would divide the extra space remaining after the standard partitions evenly among F and G.

I have an XBOX Elite, and I have a 120gb stock HDD but that is not enough. I want a HDD with more space like 750 - 1 TB so I can install more games on it without deleting others.
I want to be able to use internal desktop HDD or notebook HDDs alike, but I prefer a 1 TB internal HDD..
I am stuck because I don't know what this
