Title: Hack Theory
Post by: W35 on November 20, 2007, 12:46:00 AM
I was just running a few thoughts few my head and I was wondering if something would be possible along these lines.

If you were to run Windows on the PS3 and then run a PS3 emulator within that. Would you be able play backed up games?

It seems like a sloppy way of doing it, but I just can't believe no one has found any sort of way yet.

Yeah, that would be good idea. On the other hand THERE IS NO WORKING PS3 EMULATOR ON WINDOWS...

So let me work this out.

You want to run windows on a system it was not designed for so it would have to run under emulation which takes alot of extra processing power to then in turn run a emulator which does not exist yet which would in turn require alot of extra processing power to emulate the system your actually running said emulator inside an emulator on an OS thats crippled in the first place??

I think my mind just went in to safe mode on this one.
