From siliconera.com: Quote At Square-Enix's fiscal meeting they candidly mentioned the White Engine development is moving at a sluggish pace. However, they are not abandoning creating their in house engine. Since the engine is the backbone for Final Fantasy XIII it seems likely that the Playstation 3 game will be further delayed. Square-Enix did not mention a date for Final Fantasy XIII or Dragon Quest IX, which was originally slated to come out this year. Full Story: siliconera.com

yet again, another delay!

They should buy unreal 3 engine, who works fine on ps3 and drop their engine, which i'm sure is less capable than ue3.

The amazing Unreal engine seems to be used for everything these days.

I'm thinking no to both FFXIII and DQIX having a 2007 release date. That would mean the PS3 would actually have a chance this holiday season. And we all know that isn't likely at all.
