From gamesindustry.biz: Quote Sony has promised PlayStation 3 owners that at least 145 titles are on the way to the US, which includes approximately 40 PSN titles and more than 105 boxed games. The clarification follows Sony Computer Entertainment president Kaz Hirai's recent statement promising 380 titles within the fiscal year ending March 2008. I didnt think they had sold 145 consoles let alone games

Didn't the 360 get 180 titles in the first year? And sony is only getting 145 in the first year and a half?

I guess there's still a few publishers taking the wait and see approach.

lol - at least they backed off the 380 titles that their loon of an executive said they would have by march 2008!

These announcements correcting their announcements don't do their PR image any favors.

Quality > Quantity

I'd much rather have 10 mind blowing games than 145 mediocre ones.
