It's in 720p only. I think the draw distances have been improved slightly, but I have also heard scattered reports of slightly lower quality textures.
Basically, get it for the PS3 if:
1) Your PC isn't robust enough to play it (PC version is best)
or
2) You don't have it and a 360 already.

are you talking about adding the new shader tech that is used in the ps3 version or just peformance improvements? either way, when did this update come out? i have been wanting to get back into oblivion and complete everything in the expansion pack.
