so there basically saying most of there customers r dumb? or will buy anything marked playstation?

Five million is not "most" of their customers. I don't see Formula One and Motorstorm as key titles, but that's probably because I'm not a big racing fan. Heavenly Sword, on the other hand, is a title I'd really want to play and the developers said it would be available in the "launch window" whatever that means. I don't see why Sony should be damned for this either, as the initial poster put it, since they're only the publisher and hence have little control over when a game is ready. If they did you can be sure they'd put as many great games into the launch as they could.

its like the 360 launch all over again (minus those horrible comments). I wonder if anybody is gonna write of the PS3 the same way they written off the 360 because of its launch? Probably not because even Sony knows that their fanboys are dumb!.......lol

our competitor's price structure does not affect us since our fanboys will beg, borrow or steal, if they must, because the playstation has always been a must have item. plus, our ps3 is not an overpriced toy. no, in fact, our ps3 is a ps3 and it is the only ps3 so you should buy one because you understand it is a ps3; not a toy.

if that would happen on a massive scale then sony would lose A LOT of money and not have any way to recoup from the cost, which would be a shame

i dont see how that is possible with the ps1. the saturn was the only competitor and it was more expensive then the ps1. even if he is considering the 3do and jaguar, the ps1 was not that much more.

a ps3 is a ps3, just like a 360 is a 360. i think this man is so confused that even he doesnt know what he's talking about anymore.

well I believe he was talking about the Japanese launch... what was the pricing like there?

I know the at least PS2 was priced to about the equivalent of $380 in yen when it launched in Japan and that was against the Dreamcast which was much lower in price. Not sure about the PS1 days though.

I dont know.........im sure the ps1 was less expensive than the saturn! im quite sure. Well kens smarter than me so i won't argue with him
