Title: Dvd Tray Problems

Lately i've been having problems with my tray sometimes  it just stalls before it opens and sometimes i have to manually close the tray,Overall the drive works but the problem is starting to annoy me,is there anything i can do besides buying a new drive.

Open ur xbox, and take out your DVD drive. Take the top cover off of it, and open the tray. When it's about half open, you should be able to see the rubber pulley (elastic band). Pull it out, and boil it in water for a couple minutes, then put it back in (not wet of course tongue.gif). This always works for the broken xboxes i repair.

Or replace the belt with a new one for a lasting repair

I'm to afraid to try that boiling method,where might i buy one of those belts?
