i'll be getting a wii (my first ever nintendo) and wiikey in a couple of weeks, i have a few questions?
i take it that i'm going to need a memory card?
am i going to need a 'normal' controller to run the homebrew properly? if so is the classic one or just a gamecube one going to be better?
i have no experience of homebrew on the gamecube, though i am not entirely new to this area as i have a fair amount of apps on my xbox. i take it that there is nothing like xbmc (yet) for the gamecube/wii?

hello,
You do not necessarily need a memory card. The Wii itself has 512mb on-board storage. The SD card slot allows expansion cards up to 2gb. As for the gamecube memory card slot, I have no idea....
All gamecube homebrew requires the use of a gamecube controller (I believe). When Wii homebrew comes out, we will all be able to use a Wiimote/nunchuck/classic.

looks like i'm going to have to get myself a gamecube controller then. at least they are a lot cheaper than the £50 it is for a wii one (inc. nunchuck)

To use this setup disc without a GameCube controller - it's all about the reset button - push to select, push and hold to modify. The defaults should work perfectly, just rifle through and save settings.
