Kewl,
I do have a 'modded' Xbox and have been considering doing the same to my PSP.
If I downgrade to 1.5 is there an app. that'll let me 'Network Neighborhood' to other
computers (and Xbox) on my network?
I want to be able to move files to the PSP (memory stick) without having to cable-up. Or,
better still, just play them off the other networked machine.

I checked out that link (http://prominator.co.nr/)....the video looked like the dude was
access files from his UMD....i didn't think that were possible, that'd be sweet.

To downgrade, it looks like I need to buy GTA and then install some 'eloader' app?
Guess I need to do a little homework first.

Thanks.

I stiil have a fucking problem loading iso's that have not been directly copied using a UMD ripper. (IE: Games I've ripped using a diffrent PSP, and then trying to trasfer it from my PC to my PSP then trying to play it.) I do not know of any patches that I need to run them. There has to be a guide somewhere (NOT a HOw to rip guide, a how to play a fcuking ISO guide. ) I know it's kinda a stupid question. But hey, that's what the forums are for. Asking stupid questions.

Agreed. That firmware works absolutely fantastic for me.

I downgraded my PSP that came running 2.6 on a Ta-082 mobo, using TA-082 Downgrader for 2.71 Firmware w/ Hen-D Worked Awesome I just had to upgrade my psp to 2.71 get that Here and then I ran Homebrew Enabler Revision D(Hen-D) get that Here, but if you've upgraded to 2.80 try Homebrew Enabler (HEN) for Firmware 2.80 Then use TA-082 Easy Downgrader

Now I use Devhook v0.52 w/ PSAR Dumper To emulate sonys 3.03 update, i personally prefer to use devhook and emulate new firmwares rather then use the new hacked 3.03 OE Rev-B Just cause I dont mind loading the firmwares i want, I just load it and keep the thing in stanby(quick power press) instead of completly shutting it off(hold) and i can swap ISOs without needing to load anything new. plus at the moment i havn't ran into any downsides of this setup

I've done soooo many PSPs, about 20.
Following this:

2.5/2.6 -> 2.71 -> 1.5 -> 2.71 SE-B -> 3.02 OE-A ->3.02 OE-B -> 3.03 OE-A -> 3.03 OE-B
only to 2.71SE-B on older ones, because the newer versions weren't available at the time.

I've only ever seen ONE stock 1.0.
