it hasnt worked until the recent relase of PSP Device Hook Sample Launcher v0.40 FULL.
it is imo an AMAZING jump in what can be played and what cant... splinter cell included, however not under 1gig.
it needs the prx files from street riders, or i guess those same prx files from another game.
list of games that work under device hook .40

im pretty sure the list is still growing, and id produce a link to DL, but its probably best i dont, as i dont want to trek in muddy waters on xbox-scene.
good luck though.
ripkit available.. rips nothing to ruin the game... flipping sweet...
id post the rip, but i dont know how xbox-scene feels about links to that site.
how i got it to work:
prx files taken from battlefront, and renamed into all UPPERCASE, even the .PRX, as they are in cell.
ripped to files using UMDgen, replaced prx files, used rip kit to shrink it down to ~800MB, made ISO with VCDrom 3.6, devhook .041 on 333mhz mode, and rest of the settings as stated in readme.

I can only see DH getting better and better, IMO the best thing about it is Wifi and Save working on almost everything.
honestly, i think every 2.6 game works now.. ive played monster hunter, breath of fire 3, street fighter alpha 3, cell.... simply amazing. 4 games ive been dying to play for a looooong time.
mine froze there too.. you need prx files from street riders and battlefront.
dont ask where to get these files
edit: tutorial i wrote
QUOTE
extract all files from cell ISO
get prx files here
link removed
prx's all renamed UPPERCASE, even the .PRX just add them to the
PSP_GAME\USRDIR\SYSTEM\PSP_MODULES folder
use ripkit
use VCDromx 3.6 to build your ISO
load up Devhook .41 with these settings:
select CELL.iso or whatever you named it
UMD mount: ISO anydvd
UMD version 2.xx
firmware 2.5+2.00
CPU clock 333mhz
reboot XMB
!!! for some reason, the realtime cut scenes go really fast and its impossible to see whats going on. !!!
ok...
thanks to svtstang for help on the prx files, people at maxconsole for some other prx files, ps2nfo for posting alot of info and apps.
enjoy!
