Title: Is It Worth It

i have 339 dollars. I want a psp. I'm thinkin about getting a used core that is in good condition, a $40 1GB memory card from dell, and a probably used Liberty City Stories. if my math is correct that is $278.20 (with tax). Is all that worth it. I have most of the accessories that come with the value pack or at least all i need. I have a USB cable for it, the PSP case, some headphones, and the AC adapter will come with it. Is there anything else I would need, and once again is it really worth it?

I love mine I have a 2gb card, GTA, midway arcade, and DBZ, it's awesome.

if ur gonna use it alot its definately worth it. right now there's only a few games which i personally like, but alot of new games are being release this year. including Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (and its like regular MGS games, not the card type games like the Acid series). u can also use it for stuff other than games like pictures, music, videos, its sorta like an ipod if u get a 2gb u can fit alot in it.

its prolly gonna be used a lot for homebrew and a little bit for music-this goes along wit the games (given). i had an ipod. it got lost\stolen. once i get a job i'm going to buy another one so i'm not really worried a whole lot about music. wut are the two best games out for the psp right now. i know i'm gonna get gta

hot shots that was a fun game but havent played my psp in 3-4 months cause of lack of fun titles

if you can get a 1.5, yes. if you cant, no.

also, office depot has 1GB memory stick $20 after rebate right now.

id really advise not getting a 2.01 or higher firmware, as what you can do with it is limited...

Just get GTA for sure! Because after you are out of money, you can still get new homebrews!  tongue.gif

its not worth it, i spent my last dollars on one too, and it was definitely not worth it....

biggest waste of my hardearned money, worst console i've ever brought due to the contols which are crap making a lot of games unplayable/enjoyable wish i'd brought the nin ds instead, but hey i say see past the nice glossy exterior and have a extended play test on both machines if it's a handheld you're after and then plumb for the one you like best. wink.gif
