Your best bet is either ebay (shop wisely), or checking the Sunday paper for sales at Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, etc.. I've found some good prices in those.
For the brand, look for something made by either Sandisk (best for the price) or Sony. Lexar sticks are fairly good too.

I'd advise going with a sandisk or a sony. Lexar's are horrible. First problem with them is that I havn't been able to load a single plugin .prx using a lexar. And I've had them corrupt saves before. I've never had problems with my sony's and i know sandisks are good too

imma just get 2X 1gb till my next payday then imma get the stuff to make a 32 gb card thing..
Yup, That card would be perfect. I had no idea they are so cheap now
