To be honest, this problem is my own fault. I ordered an xecuter 2.6 chip with the solderless adapter but when i tried to install the clip for the do loop, i broke it. So I came up with this wonderful idea! Every time I started the xbox I manually held the wire in the do loop. It worked and all was good till a few days ago. The hole for the do has gotten increasingly wider since Iv being doing this. At the moment it will boot normally into the microsoft xbox dashboard but when I try to get the chip to work it just beeps and doesnt start. Its definately the fact that the do loop has gotten wider and probably cant make a proper connection to the chip. Does anyone have any alternative to boot up my xbox? would soldering work? way around using the do loop?
Thanks
Stephen
