Seems like this speculation is showing up more and more. I would be pretty irate if Sony ditched the current PSP for a new version. There hasn't even been that many games released. Not that I am looking forward to any. I could play Wipeout and SFA3 for three more years, not to mention roms and video. Isn't the PS3 supposed to have many uses for the PSP. I wouldn't think they would need a new version. I know that UMD movies are bombing. I guess if anything Sony has their eyes on selling PSP games as downloads and that would be the only incentive for a new PSP. They could save a boat load of money in manufacturing costs.
Thoughts on the topic?

only thing i heard was a new version with 4GB flash memory built in, or nan memory or whatever it is.
oh, and edit: id be pretty pissed. (even though it would be 3.0 firmware)

If they did then they would owe me one of the new ones cause I didnt just drop $250 on something that becomes obsolete that quickkly.

ya i agree, if they are putting this out so damn quick then they need to do like "Trade in your PSP + 5 games and get ______ off the PSP 2!" or something. That would be sweet if they had a Mem Stick Duo Slot in the PS3, and you could put it in and download stuff off the PS3 online Market.
Nice

From what I've heard there is going to be a psp v.2 with a megapixel camera and more memory and connectivty to the PS# but its still the same ole PSP other wise. Don't freak about rumors cause you know rumors are like Farts, everyone has heard them but the all stink

i doubt they are gonna do a new one right now, the PSP has only been out for a little more than a year, and doesnt have a whole lotta good games yet either. they need to start remaking some ps2 and ps1 games for it.
