Hey guys, I bowed outta the scene when my wife wouldn't let me buy a 1 gig stick, now I can, and now I wanna be back.
I have a 1.5
My question is, Gonna buy a 1gig stick, gonna buy GTA, can I play on-line without updating???
Or does GTA auto-update???
Assuming I do not hafta update to play this game on-line I am glad to be back!!
If I hafta up-date at least it was good for a day:(

Oh so its only playable through a Lan?? well thats still no big deal just use a tunneling software.
Is it normal that Lan game require a update???or does it hafta be the same versions on all PSP's involved??
-
I heard a rumour that Sony was thinking of having mandatory updates but I have yet see PSP games auto update or require updating in order to play.
-
Was thinking that the Burnout game auto up-dated to 2.0 at start up???
Am I wrong here???

I don't know you'll have wait for a another member to set you straight.

Thats cool man, I thank you for your help.
My problem is I know just enough to get me in trouble, but not enough to do any real damage.

Just try running WAB Version Changer -- it'll make games think your PSP has the latest firmware.
-
GTA will NOT currently play on any firmware below 2.0, regardless of loaders or version changers used (umd or .iso)! :(
And no games auto-update, too risky for sony!
