What version of PSP is in stores where you are right now?

I am in Canada and am wondering if I go out and buy mine today what are the chances I will get one pre-2.0?

I have no idea.  Buy it at Wal-Mart (They have those in Canada, right?) and take it back if it's 2.0.  

If this helps, there are some guys working on a downgrader from 2.0 to 1.5, but I don't think it's released yet.

Yes, we have Wal-Mart's everywhere here...they are taking over. That's ok, I like Wal-Mart.

I have been reading about this downgrader and IMO I think it's vapourware and is not going to be released. I have a feeling that the guys claiming this is coming out soon are asking for, and getting, donations from some very hopful people.

Has anyone bought a PSP in Canada recently? What version is yours and when did you purchase it?

Yeah, I want to use it for EMUlation and homebrew.
