Title: Harddrive Issues

I keep getting error 09, which means "kernel - HDD parameters (PIO/DMA/or size {debug}, certain size minimum is required for debug)" according to SuperFro...what the heck does that mean? i didn't softmod this box or anything, it just kinda died on me...

would it be possible to put the drive into another xbox in place of the dvd drive to reformat it?

Lets try putting a new IDE cable in it.
If that doesnt solve the problem try another hard drive.
If that doesnt solve the problem your IDE controller is fried.
