Setting up the the new DNS information was easy and my PSP connected to my wireless router with no problems at all. Right away I could launch the links that were on the gateway websites.
However one thing that kept frustrating me was that my PSP would always lose the connection! I mean if I were to enter a lengthy URL into a text box, after hitting enter, my PSP would pop up with the Select Connection screen! After selecting my connection again, it would go back to the original gateway site.
It does this all the time! When I enter text, when I stay on a webpage for more than a few seconds without clicking on a link, it just loses the connection and I have to reconnect constantly! It makes surfing the net impossible for me.
I tried disabling the WLAN power save mode, that was the first thing that popped into my head when it started losing the connection. It seems to do it regardless of it.
Anyone else have this problem, or have a solution?
I have a Linksys WRK54G router, but my PSP seems to have this problem with my friend's wifi too!

Hmm, thats wierd. I too have a WRT54G. I browse without ever getting D/C on my PSP. But what you describe did happen to me until I disabled the WLAN power saver. But you said you did. What firmware are you using in you WRT54G?

Everyone suggests having WLAN Power Save mode OFF for the best results, however for me it just causes problems! Why do I need it on and others need it off? I just don't get it!
Anyone have any thoughts?
