Did you guys see on the main page where they are talking about Team executers "undisclosed PSP project?"

Only time will tell what it will be. Judging by Team Xecuters standards in other modding areas I bet it will be something great.

could be the umd thing, but you would need to special order the lil plastic case things... or use ones from games u already have

How do you expect to backup games to UMD without a UMD burner or writable UMD's? Considering Sony isn't going to release either to the public, it's probably not gonna happen any time soon.

Yeah but how do you know the UMD drive can't read anything else?

you tell me what it could read, its too small for minis.

im not expecting much out of excuter maybe a case replacement or something along those lines.

dumping a UMD might not be the hardest thing to do, but figuring out how to use it will be the trick, your going to need like a memory card, or since you can take the UMD out of its case and use it in a computer with the right apps, we can get a DVD-RW UMD type thing just to hold games/movies temporary beerchug.gif

Damn good article. That one is new to me. Pretty dumb if you ask me, but who knows what Sony has up their ass, I mean sleeve.

Its not dumb considering that the PSP gets 2-6 hours battery life underclocked. if the psp was given back that 100+ mhz, it would only kill the battery quicker, plus code is not always really optimized at the start of a systems lifespan, which would be worse with more power

arent umd discs the same size as mini disks? just different casing from the looks...and dont they make mini disc burners? hmmm so lets say we made our own program to burn on a mini disk burner, but we then later switched the case from mini disk to UMD. it may work for games, but i think it could diffenitly work for movies. i dunno just a thought.

Not it is not the same. It kind of trying to make a cd drive read a dvd. Same size but diff medium.
