Title: Laptop Hd Replacement

i was wondering if i could replace the bulky orginal xbox HDD with a laptop HDD with some sort of converter for the powering since it uses a larger IDE connector with included 5 volt input. Does anyone know if this is possible and if it is do you know where i could find some info on it. thx.

Yes it works, had a laptop drive inside mine for a while
used one of these adaptors

thx man. i thought it would work but i just needed to make sure b/c i spent the cash one the drive.
