Title: 2 Network Cards And An Xbox
Post by: XeroKitsune on March 08, 2004, 08:44:00 AM
You normaly in this case would set a Static IP address on that network card and the XBox. 169.254.X.X is the standard ip addressing MS operating systems use when a network card is set to DHCP and there is no DHCP server.

Make shur the logical network of the XBox connection is diffrent from your net connection. Generaly dont let the first 3 spots of your outside network card match the first 3 used by the XBox and Xbox Nic.
Ie. Outside 192.168.0.2
Xbox 192.168.2.2
Nic connected to the XBox 192.168.2.4
