If your CPU has a 266Mhz FSB you need PC2100, if its 333MHz you need PC2700, etc.

You can also buy the highest RAM speed your MB will take and lower it to the correct speed of your CPU.  For example I just bought a new MB that will take up to PC-3200, but my current CPU runs at 266mhz bus speed or PC-2100. Now if I ever upgrade my CPU I won't have to upgrade my RAM as well. Just make sure you set the appropriate RAM speed in your BIOS to match your CPU.
