Awesome! thanks for the link! I was always wondering what was inside this thing.

That is a puny heatsink on that Celeron.

Anyone know the specs on the original MS TV internet box? (circa 2000)

EDIT: Specs found. It used a RISC CPU manufactured by IDT. The speed ranged from 117-180 MHz

I though the same originally but the processor doesn't need much at all because it's a mobile processor.  Mine has never got very warm but then again I have never stressed the processor much just using the base Linux image.
