I have a WGA11B hooked up to my bedroom xbox. It is configured properly since XBMC can pull weather info from the net and I can establish a FTP connection to it.
The problem is that the transfer speeds from either of my pc's to the Xbox is slow, averaging about 500k/s. Since I mostly use the xbox in question as a media player it is kind of a pain.
I don't have encryption enabled, but I have set up MAC filtering on the router (WRT54G) with both the xbox and adapter being set.
I'm pretty sure that it isn't the game adapter since I had a friend bring her laptop over and was getting roughly the same speed.
Could the channel that it is transmitting on be the reason? I have adjusted some of the settings on the router (QOS, Beacon interval, etc.), but would rather have someone point me in the correct direction.
