Title: Ps2 Online
Post by: godfather 477 on August 19, 2003, 08:31:00 AM
Im in the uk, bought an aqua blue ps2 machine from Japan and put a DMS2 chip inside.

The way i see it, i would have to knock the chip off to install the adapter so with it being a PAL disk it probably wouldnt read.

Is there a way round this, i heard about DNAS.. would that detect my chip if i tryed installing the disk with the chip on?

Also what about tunnelling software.. or something like xboxconnect is there anything in development?

ah, didnt know that.

I have read about A Go Net Adapter, would NTSC and Pal backups work online with it?

Why would you need a XBConnect-like service for the PS2 when you can play backups online with it?  wink.gif

DNAS keeps you from playing backups online or having your modchip turned on, at least that's what I heard.
