oh god...

-TB has 90pts now after OTL against carolina. They play them again tomorrow, then washington on tuesday.

-atlanta has 87pts. They play boston saturday, washington monday and florida tuesday.

-Leafs have 86pts. They play ottawa saturday, buffalo sunday, and pittsburg tuesday.

Leafs get a tired buffalo, shity pittsburg, and ottawa which they haven't beaten yet (chara's back)
If Atlanta looses one, TB looses two, and toronto wins three - then yes.

huge if, but i'm hopen'

BTW - I personally blame antropov for this shitty season. (injuries set aside)

u leafs fans are outta yur minds, they need to gut the entire roster from top to bottom. start with quinn and work yur way back down the so called team, if i had to make a suggestion to management, i would say take a look at a successful franchise as a template for the future, like the redwings, the 2006 stanley cup champs

BETTER LUCK NEXT YEAR   wink.gif

Detroit has the best scouts in the league. Can't copy detroit.

Something you should know. The fans of Toronto, dictate how the team is run.
Toronto isn't allowed to have a "building year." Not makeing the playoffs, is simply unacceptable.

The formula for the leafs, is 25%, big name guys. Like belfour, Lindros, or Brian leetch. Superstars (at least at one point in their carrer) that will draw crowds.
20% heart players. People who work hard, and give hope to the fans. eg: wilm, tucker, roberts.
10% filler eg. antropov
Then you have four or five skilled players, like sundin, mcabe, kaberle, mogilny, who you give time to develope
Leaving very little room for rookies/new talent.

In toronto, every year is suppose to be the year. Fans here won't accept a building year. So it's very hard to make a team a contender. Don't forget injuries was the pleague this year. Lindros only played 33 games. Brian McCabe, Sundin, Tucker, Allison, all missed at least 10 games each. Belfour missed two months. Sundin got hurt the first game.

BTW - Toronto is a template for every other team. The Toronto Maple Leafs make the most money in the entire league. NYR is second.

Luongo wont come to toronto. He loves it in florida. Now that jokenin (sp?) signed, he'll want to stay even more.

I really don't think toronto's going to get anyone good. They wont get another "belfour." I think there will be a goalie drout for a couple of years, and toronto will go with pogge when he's ready (assuming he's as good as predicted)

I really hope they sign allison back. He's just so good.

Do you think McCabe's staying? I think no.
