What do you think now?
Game 2 was the Pistons'
to lose. The Lakers got incredibly lucky.
Their luck has run out.
It is not a fluke that the Pistons are responsible for two of the Lakers' lowest scoring playoff games ever.
Detroit has the best and worst sports teams, it's really strange.
(just like New York?)
The lakers have been lucky all postseason actually. If that Jim Jackson three went in for houston in game 1 in the first round that might of turn the tide. .04 shot against my beloved Spurs bounce out that would of been it for them. Cassells back stayed input that would of been it for the Lakers. Now thier luck has run out. I had the Lakers winning it all after they beat my Spurs team but after watching game 1 in the finals and seeing how quick and tough Detroit played on defense they made me in a believer. Besides Malone is severly hurt and payton is playing crapping. with out those two playing good ball there is nobody else on that team besides Shaq and Kobe and those two are tired of carrying the defense and offense all the time. So I think Detroit is going to finally end the drought for the eastern teams finally
Woo hoo!
Pistons up, 3-1.
Time to wrap things up at home at Game 5!!
yea, big ben's shot was hillarious! i laughed hard! but i was so extatic that the lakers dynasty has been completely destroyed. the spurs started it last year and now their twin from the east completely destroyed it.
lakers, the worst team money can buy
Im amazed they pulled it off. My hats off to the pistons and all pistons fans.
I really never believed they could do it. Defense wins championships.
Karl MALONE denied again.. hilarious!!!!
yea, isn't it kinda funny. back when he was on the Jazz, phil jackson denied him a championship. now once again, when he has a chance, phil denies it agian
Looks like the mass exodus from the Lakers is beginning.
The end of their "mini-Dynasty"
Shaq: Gone (Asking for trade)
Kobe: Gone (Free Agent, if he's not in jail next year)
Phil: Gone (Just gone, poof!)
Malone: Gone (Free Agency, don't have a clue as to who would have the goon)
I also think there will be a shake up in the West Coast now, with an emphasis on "D", which is just going to demonstgrate that polarizing a team strategy won't work, either. Detroit was balanced - "D" was awesome, but there was offense there, too. They were also a team with good chemistry, and a few so-called "trouble makers" put their egos in check to make it happen. You can't force that.
Sorry, Lakers fans, but you just entered some very lean years.
Well I knew Phil was gone, and I was pretty sure that Payton and Malone wouldn't return, but this is the new tidbit of information I didn't know about.
I only have one thing to say to Shaq, TO is a beautiful city, you can take up snowmobiling in the winter and we have the tallest freestanding tower in the world!
we also forgot the courtside player(S)
jack nicholson: he's going wherever shaq or kobe go anyother stars?
