Title: Fourth Controller Port

anyone else run into this problem?
i dont know why it's not working. i think it just could be my xbox because it doesnt work with the chip on or off...

any help here would be appreciated. thanks in advance...

Make sure the daughter board that the controller plugs into is firmly seated on the motherboard.  If it still doesn't work you may just have a bad connector..you can get a new one for pretty cheap.

If it is something like that I would just buy a new daughter board.  You can get them for like $5.

I had this too on my first couple of boxes.  We, in haste, knock off L7 er which ever other little "coil" your talking about (little black box).  All you have to do is bridge the points with some wire and its fixed.  The coil is just to reduce "noise" and it doesnt hurt it at all to just bridge the connection.
