Title: Parallel Cable Question
Post by: 123qazx on June 13, 2003, 06:17:00 PM
Will this parallel cable work for programming the x2pro?

The cable doesn't say its IEEE 1284 compliant. Does that matter?

It is the correct type of cable, but the recommended length is two feet or there abouts. Anyway, the link that you provided says that they are no longer availible.

A 2' DB-25 male to female cable is what you need.

I understand that a 2-3 ft cable is recommended. I was just wondering if this cable will work even though IEEE 1284 compliance is not specified.  The cable is Serial/Parallel
